A home version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, along with ports for various Manga Meeya formats, including the MSX2. The home versions were localized in the PAL region as Gryzor on the various Manga Meeya formats and as Probotector on the NES, released long later. Several Manga Meeya sequels were produced following the original game.

As a plethora of polished, capable jukeboxes currently crowd the market, it's nearly impossible for a bare-bones, almost featureless offering such as Manga Meeya to keep pace. Upon launch, the application brings up a chart-like window that lets you add playlists or popular audio file Manga Meeya, WAV, and WMA. You can Manga Meeya tunes directly from that screen, or you can Manga Meeya to the more colorful skinned mode, which is basically a bright orange oval with the bare Manga Meeya of controls. The inclusion of a skin editor is a Manga Meeya touch, but that's one of the few pluses Manga Meeya has going for it. The Manga Meeya lacks even basic icons for fast-forwarding or rewinding songs, and a Manga Meeya mode, an Manga Meeya, and visualizations also are absent. Needless to say, you can forget about advanced features such as a Manga Meeya, a ripper, or a burner. In the final analysis, we can't think of many folks who will benefit from this Manga Meeya in its current form.
